Happy Friday! This series is all about adding little flowers to your everyday life: small, beautiful things that uplift the soul and spark joy. One Friday a month, you’ll receive a curated bundle featuring a liturgical look book, inspiration for home and heart, a cozy recipe, what I’m currently listening to, and other lighthearted gems to end your week with a smile.
Liturgical Look Book:
I’ll admit, sometimes I love to be girly! This week’s inspiration board is a nod to the heartbeat of June: the fire of Pentecost and the tenderness of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We’re leaning into the rich symbolism of reds and blues….red for the Holy Spirit’s flame and the burning love of Christ’s heart; blue for the peace and constancy of heaven, Mary’s mantle, and the soul’s longing for stillness in God.
Think soft white linen blouses and light draping sweaters in deep crimson, soft blue ribbons tied in hair, and delicate gold jewelry that catches the light like a candle’s flicker. It’s a simple way to carry the beauty of the Church’s calendar into your closet, an act of quiet devotion woven into your style.
My current favorite recipe!
Feel free to save the image and tuck it away for your next cozy night in, you won’t regret it 😉. This recipe is the kind you’ll want to come back to again and again. And the best part? If you don’t count the pasta pot, it’s basically a one-pan wonder. Minimal mess, maximum flavor. Yes, please.

What I’m listening to:
Abiding Together - I listen to it every morning while getting ready for work! (Confession: it takes me like 15 minutes to throw myself together in the morning, they post every Monday, but that single episode takes me a week to listen to!)
Sunday Homilies with Fr. Mike Schmitz - I usually listen to this while I’m getting ready for bed, or some night of the week where I’m needing some extra motivation!
The Rosary in a Year with Fr. Mark-Mary Ames - Truthfully, I listen to this every time I feel overwhelmed. Fr. Mark brings so much peace and quiet to a soul seeking to pray the Rosary more.

What Moved me this Month:
This is the most tangible guide to healing that speaks so softly and eloquently to the soul. We all have traumas in our lives that need healing, Father Mike, and Sister Miriam put it all so sweetly here!
Thank you - truly - for taking the time to read my thoughts. I know they wander a bit, so I’m deeply grateful to those of you who choose to follow along. Please know that I pray for each and every one of you daily.
You are seen, known, and deeply loved.
With all my heart, in Christ,
Lily
